The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Brunei Darussalam hosted a reception on the occasion of its 65th National Day and the 35th Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait, 10th February night. It was held at the Royal Berkshire Hall, Tarindak D'Polo and Riding Club, Jerudong.

Representing the government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu, Deputy Minister for Security and Law at the Prime Minister's Office. Since 1990, relations between both countries have continued to grow steadily, underpinned by mutual respect, trust, and shared cultural and religious values.
